AU-PE*9 Improved Bleaching of Paper Pulps In nature, numerous microorganisms produce xylanase. Some herbivore, crustaceans, insects and other small creatures also produce xylanase but mammals do not produce it. Xylanases belong to the glucanase enzyme family and they are characterized by their ability to deconstruct various xylans. In other words, it works by hastening the break-down of hemicellulose, one of the major components of plant cell walls in pulp.  Xylanases act mainly on relocated and re-precipitated xylan on the surface of the pulp fibers. It can render the structure of the fibers more permeable.  It is an ideal agent for the bleaching of wood pulp prior to undergoing the papermaking process. Used in the pretreatment sequences dramatically improves bleachability and increased brightness of pulp by making it more penetrable to bleaching chemicals.  Xlanased-aided bleaching of kraft pulps reduces consumption of chlorine chemicals in the bleaching process and consequently lowering the absorbable organically bound halogens (AOX) of the wastewater effluents.

AU-PE*9 is a Xylanase based product specifically formulated for improving bleaching characteristics of pulps. The xylanases in AU-PE*9 are natural and not genetically modified. Alternative packaging is available upon request. STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight. AU-PE*9 maintains its stated activity for at least six months when stored at temperatures below *5°C. The product maintains its activity for considerably longer when stored at lower temperatures, but not frozen. COMPLIANCE TO STANDARDS: AU-PE*9 is safe to use and meets China's industry standard QB***5.***3. HANDLING: Although the product is not toxic and is biodegradable, unnecessary contact with AU-PE*9 should be avoided. Long term exposure to this product should definitely be avoided for individuals who are particularly sensitive to the product and exhibit some reaction to it.
