Description

This is a new variety of sweet potato, which is not yet cultivated very extensively.
As well as looking appealing, this variety is characterized by the fact that it is imbued�with

sweetness from the moment the potatoes are dug up and has a smooth texture on the palate.

This variety contains a large quantity of the white milky fluid (jalapin) that oozes out of the potato

when cut, so it has excellent properties as a functional ingredient that improves bowel function.
The skin is a reddish-purple, while the flesh is pale yellow in color and is soft and slightly viscous

when cooked.
