Botanically is called Tabebiu spp.It is Tropical Hard wood that is mostly found in latin America (South America) but it is found in some part of West Africa, especially Nigeria. Ipe is durable wood that last for over thirty years, infact it is as strong as iron. Our specification is FAS and air dried. It is used for Decking, Flooring, Ship/Boat building, engineering and other durable construction works.
