Shabunda Co-operative mines is one of the Congo's leading producers of copper cathode, which is the raw material input to the production of continuous cast copper rod for the wire and cable industry.
 
Cathodes are also used to produce high quality copper tube, brass and other extruded copper products. Copper Cathode is a traded commodity in the world's metal exchanges in New York (Comex), London (LME) and Shanghai (SHFE) although we are not registered in the world's metal exchanges our copper has all (LME) standards.
