Microbial corrosion causes huge loss in industrial process. Biocide is typically added in industrial water to reduce the damage from microbial corrosion. If a biocide is used for a long time, the bacteria may develop resistance to it. More biocide has to be used to be effective therefore the cost increase. After many years of studies and trials we developed a nitrogen-containing polyheterocyclic quaternary ammonium salt coupled with certain amount of other agents. Bacteria are not resistant to this biocide. Therefore the dosage remains stable and cost-effective.
