Indonesia has a few marble quarries on the islands in the coast of Java but no quarries yet on the mainland. Many variations of stones are present. Indonesia has a good potential for developing to become a supplier of marbles and granites.

The salaries in Indonesia are still low, diesel is cheap and government taxes and permit expenses for quarries are very low. Expenses for government taxes and permits for quarries are only *0% of the expenses of India.
