We have a tamper tool that fits in any kind of blender jar and container, except for the Ninja Blender which has an auger for a blade knife. A blender jar plunger is an important tool to push down on ingredients to get the blending process going especially when very durable hard to blend ingredients are attempted to be blended up and when there is not enough liquid in the jar.

The Universal Tamper is adjustable by simply moving the flanges / ring to the appropriate location on the tamper after measuring the distance from the lid hole opening to the tip of the blade and placing the flanges right there so the tamper stops short of touching the blades when inserted through the lid hole.

The flanges act also as a splash guard, covering the hole of the lid when removing the cap. The flanges are a 2 piece set per each tamper that will clamp together. The tamper can be used with either direction. The user needs to pay attention which end is the right end to insert into the jar towards the blade for pushing down on the ingredients or for stirring the puree or nuts during the blending process. If not careful, the tamper end might touch the blades. Since most smoothie enthusiasts use a high powered blender with very strong and sharp blades, it is likely the tamper gets nicked on the bottom end.
