Description

OPC is a cement made at the PPC Bulawayo factory and offers more value in every bag. It is made from high quality raw materials; clinker being inter-ground with gypsum and blended or inter-ground with an appropriate amount of extender.
OPC conforms to the *2,5 N strength class of SANS ******1 for common cements and, depending on source factory, is identified as one of: i CEM I *2,5N Where CEM II denotes Portland Composite cement, A denotes an extender content between 6 and *0%, B denotes an extender content between *0 and *5%, L denotes limestone, S denotes blast furnace or Corex ® slag, V denotes siliceous fly ash and M denotes a mixture of the extenders following the M.
Typical applications are concrete, paving, precast products, grouts, shotcrete, soil stabilization and structural concrete. OPC is a tried and tested product that has been engineered to achieve a consistent and appropriate performance.
