ORIGINS & HISTORY

It was known in Armenia during the ancient times, and has been cultivated there so long, it is often thought to have it is originated there. 

With all these years the tree has sprouted to East Europe and Anatolia's fertile land. 
The species is now extensively planted and widely naturalized in Malatya Turkey.

Today the major producers are Turkey, Iran, Uzbekistan, Algeria and Pakistan




         USAGE

Apricots can be eaten as it is. But to mix it with any kind of nuts will sweeten the taste of it.

It can also be eaten on pourage, musli and any kind of breakfast cereals or oatmeals.

Because of the sweet taste lots of chocolate manufacturers using the crumbles instead of refined sugar
You can use it in your desserts too.
