Nigeria is among the major producers and suppliers of dried split ginger into the world market. Nigeria is the third largest exporter of ginger in the world after China and India. Ginger has long been used for culinary and medicinal purpose. Health benets include reducing nausea, pain, and inammation. Ginger can be used to make tea, chopped or crushed in curries and savory dishes, and dried or crystalized in sweets and confectionary. It is highly demanded due to its good aroma, pungency, and high oil and oleoresin contents. Our ginger products are gotten from the major production location of Southern Kaduna in Kaduna State (80 90%), as well as other locations including Plateau and Nasarawa states.
