The Indian cashew kernel is well acclaimed for its good quality, taste and appearance.

Kernels shall be completely free from infestation, insect damage, rancidity, adhering taste and objectionable extraneous matter. Scraped and partially shriveled kernels also permitted provided such scraping/shriveling does not affect the characteristic shape of the kernel.
Specification The kernels would be dry and  have the characteristic shape. they would be free from oil (CNSL) and the think outer skin.Refer to AFI standard
Cashew kernels would be preserved in a dry clean place, far from heat resource. The storage of preservation would be closed, dry clean, free from foreign smell, no insect, rodents
