Will the Bendable iPhone 6 Plus bend the selling records this year?

After the recent buzz on iPhone 6 Plus that has been encountered with a bendable body after being placed into a narrow pocket or a curved rigid place, Lewis Hilsenteger decided to make a proper bending test and figure out all the possible fusses out. In fact, this turned out to be an acute situation, but others have identified that it doesn’t get enough force to bow the Apple’s new iPhone 6 Plus. A wow or a bow; you decide now!

Inevitably, the recent Phablet is an unparalleled and attractive piece of technology that Apple has ever created. It is big in shape but quietly slim along all of its sides with smooth edges of machined aluminum. It is really a pleasure to grasp but reports reveal that the phone may not sustain its shape as much as it was expected.

Lewis has made a test video to examine the authenticity on the complaints many have flanked while spanking the new iPhone 6 Plus losing its shape in the pocket of its users. However, a series of bent phones’ snapshots have frequently been gaining strength under the hashtag #BENDGATE. The story has been starting to evolve since Friday, and there is has not been any ‘cover up’ statement from Apple’s side to date, which might create even more difficulties for them to find the actual ‘Gate’ out of this fuss. According to Derek Kessler, Apple’s last launch iPhone 5 and 5s are also made up with aluminum and contain the bending feature (to some extent).

Apart from jealously or sour grapes, there must be a threat that may bring the Apple’s soul at stake. The users who are looking for a pleasurable experience will not be compromised with this unanticipated behavior. When it comes to Samsung’s phablet series, Apple is claiming that their latest version of iPhones will provide an ultimate user experience. The company managed to sell 33.8 million from iPhone 5c and 5s by generating the massive revenue figure of $91.279 billion in the year 2013. Though, this uncertainty might have severely hurt the projected sales of iPhones this year.

The ultra thin shape, lightness, the soft corners, and the metal body are some the variables that can easily make the user delighted with the new babies! However, a large number of users put their iPhones in their pocket (for very-very obvious reasons) and they will do the same as far as the pocket should be large enough. The regular excursion to the back pocket may direct it to a permanent bend however, sadly enough.

Lewis initiated the bending testing session with the iPhone 6 Plus by putting full two-thumb force on a newly unwrapped iPhone 6 Plus and the consequences can be seen in the images all over the globe! Later on, when Hilsentegar tried to bend it back, the aluminum backed out, and the prior not-so-flexible screen got splintered.

There are a couple of lessons extracted from the “bending test” applied on iPhone 6 Plus which are as follows:
•    Always avoid putting your new iPhones in a cramped pocket for a longer period of time
•    In case your phone gets the #bendgate, don’t try to straighten the back out to its original state! Consult a doctor maybe. We mean the professionals

Phil Schiller appeared to feel honorable in announcing the fact that iPhone 6 Plus is just .2mm thicker than that of iPhone 6. However, 6plus has relatively 3X more surface area than 6 which consequently shows 3% extra width can be the key indication of its structural weakness. Nickel titanium is the material that is made up with flexi eyeglass frames, stronger in nature and super-flexible as well. It is heavier and costs 5-10 times more than aluminum; but does not bend!

Lewis Hilsenteger also tried to see if the same instance could happen with the Samsung Note 3, though it is a nasty comparison with iPhone 6 Plus but Samsung Note 3 couldn’t be bowed down! Might be, it was slightly twisted but certainly never did it bent. In short, if you want to keep your mobile in your pocket, go to Samsung! If you want to buy a gigantic iPhone (the PLUS), then a large pocket or purse would be necessary.

Hence, applying the bending test session on the iPhone 6 Plus will make it entirely curved out of the original shape. However, an incredible part is that it is still working perfectly even in the bent pose. As a matter of fact, we have clearly concluded that Apple’s new arrival is not supposed to be bent manually. However, from the voice of its loyal customers, not all the phones pass through this sort of torture session but the thing is that, iPhone 6 Plus is going to bend simply just being placed inside the pocket. This is perhaps on account of the thin aluminum design body, but Apple hasn’t come up on the screen till now for justifying it. Many of the people are passing judgments that Apple is not intending to exchange the Bendable iPhone 6 Plus without any charge.

There are a number of phones that have bending features, but those are also made up with plastic and will not turn out to be damaged forever! Being a neutral observer, iPhone 6 Plus is a thin gadget finished out with aluminum and it cannot be a fair judgment that the device should just tilt inside a pocket. The above video link video is portraying the “Forced bend test” which has been applied above the normal standards.
