Harar Coffee is a family-owned and operated exporter of specialty green coffees, serving the international roasting community. Founded in ***4 by Mohamed Abdillahi Kahin aka “OXEDEY”, Ali Abdillahi Kahin and Mohamed AwOmer Kulmiye in a tiny office on Hirna, the company began with the purchase of a single horse load of coffee that Was used as a desk until they found a buyer for it. They turned the proceeds of the first sale into two more horses, and the rest is history. We now export the finest harar coffee in the world, to over 3 countries in three continents and a vast network of producing partners. From warehouses in Eastern Hararghe, Harar Horse supplies some of the top roasting companies around the globe. Our humble roots continue to inform our day to day operations though, as many of our clients get their start with us buying a single bag of coffee.
