UK UK
Integritex UK was formed in year ***0 as a direct result of the
present partners becoming imbued with the ‘nuclear flavour’ of
South Oxfordshire. The Harwell Atomic Research Centre and ‘The JET
Project’ being on their doorstep; these were familiar local names
that they had not only grown up with but whose very presence
nearby, had resulted in significant partnership income via their
other company that had commenced trading back in ***9.
The original family business was a ‘Corporate Wear & Safety
Supplies enterprise; JET was one of the largest accounts during
***0 – ***1. They became increasingly aware that in addition to
everyday ‘me too’ products such as boots/gloves/masks/uniforms,
there were also highly specialist products i.e. ‘Air Fed Suits’ and
other niche items in the hostile environment sectors of the PPE/RPE
market place. A decision was made to focus entirely on that field.
Integritex came into being as a separate company and for a while,
ran alongside the older family business until in ***7, after *8
years of successful trading, the original enterprise was sold and
all effort was devoted to the growth of Integritex in support of
the UK nuclear industry.
