Negar Art Gallery

Negar Gallery owned by Ms. Mitra Teimouri was founded in ***5 with the primary purpose of supporting young, talented, and creative artists in order to increase contemporary art\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s recognition and awareness. Negar Gallery has endeavored to disseminate the voices of new artists in reaction to deep-rooted societal challenges, as well as honor a relatively hundred-year heritage of Iranian modern art, through the curating of periodic exhibitions and events. Negar has recently begun to work with new media, such as performance, installation, and video art, in addition to painting, calligraphy, and sculpture. One of Negar gallerys most recent accomplishments is to expand the market for video art.
Femininity representations and a return to figurative in Iranian art occur as a result of the cultural process of establishing sexual and social identities, which Negar has endeavored to promote. Despite cultural complexity and limits, particularly the taboo of displaying a woman's body in art, Iranian artists played a vital role in expressing messages and reflected their thoughts in art.
