*0 years ago Hungarian individuals formally founded Refra-System Kft. in November ***9 the basic idea was to provide new services and products for the Hungarian refractory industry. In the first ten years several furnaces and R+D projects belonged to the company and we supplied many factories with mortars and mixes. During the late *0s we extended the profile of the company with refractory waste recycling to supply our customers with the highest quality refractory. We are constantly improving our production capacity and technology to fulfill our partners' various requirements. In ***3 we got involved in an existing ceramic foam filter company. Our set target was to renew the production technology and methods to obtain a constant quality and flexible deliveries. In ***6 we reached the goal. In ***7 we renewed the crushing and sieving line to reach the present production level. In 1st January ***8 we bought a fine milling and classifying facility to offer wider range of products to our customers. The most important milestone in our company's life, that we have been subventioned in an EU tender for the development of a fusing technology. The trial production has been already started at Szalonna. Also R+D facility is available there for new product development.
