SiCab (Previous General Cable - BERU)

SiCab was previously a BERU factory, before it was bought by General Cable. We became General Cable Automotive Europe. Since ***7 we are a family owned business (French family) and we are part of a larger group of companies who produce for OEM Renault and PSA.
 
SiCab produce cable for OEM Hyundai KIA - GM Renault Dacia- PSA Fiat Daimler Benz Ladaand non-automotive OEM applications (other industries).
 
In ***9 we were approached by EFI (Electricfil Bougicord) who asked if we were interested to take over their ignition cable production. An agreement was made for all their equipment to be moved to our plant in Normandy (North of France). We produce the BOUGICORD brand as well as BERU and CHAMPION.

We produce cables with different type conductors: Copper, wire-wound, suppressed (Latex or Carbon Silicone)
We use Thermoplastic, Microwave, HAV and CV extruders which allows us to produce cables with Insulation materials:PVC, TPE/TPR, XLPE, XER, EPDM, CPE, EVA and Silicone
