We (Yobees Honey Ltd) decided we wanted to not only help others get started in the industry by consulting/mentoring them, but also to create an extraordinary honey, a honey that is pure and undiluted. The decision was made to concentrate only on High Grade manuka with the Unique manuka Factor. It excited us that this would be our claim to fame and that was exactly what we did.

 

Floral source The land will be inspected and validated before hive placement. It will have either a sufficient supply of native Manuka and/or selectively bred, high grade Manuka cultivars (from Manuka Farming NZ) planted to ensure the honey is pure and not a multi-floral/impure low-quality honey. The bee to plant ratio must be at the right concentrations.

Honey & Health We are producing high Grade monofloral Manuka honey that is natural, pure and true to the label. Taking care of the environment is a big part of Yobees. The directors of Yobees are big on planting trees, and our bees pollinate several areas around central NZ. We know that if we take care of our environment, it’ll take care of us. Speaking of us, health and wellbeing is a big part of why we produce high grade Manuka honey. We and our customers strongly believe in the benefits of Manuka and its unique factor. Our honey is eligible for the license given from the Unique Manuka Honey Association (UMFHA) who do scientific Research on Manuka honey and its benefits. Not just anyone can join UMFHA and if one does, the honey must also qualify.
