Filtration cycle is the hallmark of the entire process. Filtration is carried out at gravity pressures. Liquid slurry is given in feed distributor (Tag. 1.2) through feed valve (Tag. 1.1). First maximum liquid is filtered out by gravity. The rubber belt (Tag. 3) moves continuously along with the filter belt (Tag. 2) so that the feed slurry moves forward to the vacuum filtration section (Tag. 4, 5). Here the vacuum pressure is applied to the slurry and maximum amount of ML is removed from the slurry. The slurry moves forward to first wash section (Tag. 8, *1) of the system here it gets washed through the water continuously and gets sucked by vacuum pressure. This process is repeated three times (***** first wash(Tag. 7), second wash(Tag. *0), third wash (Tag. *3) by countercurrent washing. The slurry moves forward towards drying section (Tag. *4) where the slurry is maximum dried and moves for discharge. After discharging the material, the belt move further towards belt washing section(Tag. *6) where belt gets cleaned and moves for filtration.
