The company has already stopped up the selling of few versions like, Basic, Home, Home premium and ultimate copies of Windows 7 all the way through original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and now decided to terminate the supply of windows 8 too.

Therefore, Windows 8.1 edition is being offered as default in different PCs and notebooks for sale.

Moreover, OEM is authorized to sell personal computers with an operating system of windows 7 and 8 professional as a default for the next year.
The official release of Windows 8 took place in 2012, but there was a slow adoption statistics by consumers observed because the developers have expelled out some standard features like start menu from the Desktop. Contrary to this, Windows 7 is still earning the praises from customers due its exceptional features.
