GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The isolated 8 channel mA module DAM***1 is a Din Rail mount I/O Module. The is mA/mV.

The DAM ***1 converts the analog signal to a *6 bit digital format. The data is transmitted by the MODBUS RTU/ASCII protocol on RS***5 or RS**2.

The DAM***1 is equipped with two Watch-Dog timers. In case of alarm, the outputs are forced automatically to a fail safe condition. The digital outputs can also be used as trip alarms of the analog signal enabling local control.
