AWS E***5 is a kind of  carbon steel electrode with low hydrogen sodium coating, used in all position welding with both AC  current in reverse polarity . Good mechanical properties and crack resistance capacity can be obtained from the deposited metal.
 
  Application:welding of medium carbon steel and some important low alloy steel structures.
