Product Description

In pulp and paper industries, bleaching process is very important critical process which directly affects the final product. For the production of sodium and potassium chlorate, used by pulp manufacturing companies as an environmentally friendly bleaching process, its coatings play a very important role.
 
For bleaching process chlorine dioxide ( ClO2 ) and perchlorates are used .
To produce these chlorine dioxide ( ClO2 ) and perchlorates, Sodium Chlorate (NaClO3) and Potassium Chlorate ( KClO3 ) are essentially required.
 
Sodium Chlorate (NaClO3) and Potassium Chlorate ( KClO3 ) are produced by  electrolytic process using chlorate cells.

Sodium chlorate (NaClO3) is produced by  electrolytic oxidation of Sodium Chloride (NaCl) using chlorate cells.

Potassium chlorate (KClO3) is  also produced by electrolytic oxidation of Potassium Chloride (KCl) using chlorate cells.

In the electrolytic process of chlorate producing generally  three types of chlorate cells are  used

 
Tank type chlorate cell ( with MMO coated plate anode or  MMO coated mesh anode )
 
Modular type chlorate cell ( with MMO coated plate anode)
 
Hydrogen lifting type chlorate cell (with MMO coated anode fins )
 
We can manufacture any type of chlorate cells and our coatings are able to operate at very high current density ( up to 6kA/sq.m),long life ( more than 8 years ) and high efficiency. We also have the complete knowledge and facility to perform complete chlorate cell refurbishment.


We have been continually developing and improving our anode coatings to further enhance the production efficiency, to reduce by-product oxygen and finally to reduce operational costs.
We have solid experience in DSA Anodes coating technology and we can also do refurbishment of anode coating.

A lower oxygen evolving coating with a compact coating structure
Lower oxygen translating into higher current efficiency
Coating which are formulated to inhibit  the build up of impurities on the coating surface and thus leading to a long coating life
Coating can operate at temperatures more than *0 degrees centigrade
