Product Description

CONDUCTOR ACCESSORIES

Compression Splice/Mid Span Joint 
For high voltage transmission lines, conductor bundles are used for each phase to fulfil electrical requirements. Spacing devices are installed on the bundles to maintain subconductor separation. Elastic and damping elements are introduced into the spacing devices for distributing the damping effect along the spans which prevents entrapment of vibration between Spacer Dampers and avoids bending stresses at the clamps. 
Tronco Electric can make the design with the conductor specifications provided by clients.

Repair Sleeves
Repair sleeves are used where the strands of the overhead line conductor are broken. The conductor repair sleeve is simply compressed over the damaged section of the overhead line conductor.
The diameter and the length of the repair kits vary in order to suit the applicable overhead line conductor.
Spacer Damper
Tronco Electric offers a full range of Spacers and Spacer Dampers for bundled lines. By combining years of expertise, long term service and relaibility, we offer a full range of spacers and spacer dampers for all types of bundle configuration and conductor applications. 

Vibration Damper
Vibrations will lead to internal conductor fatigue stress at suspension and tension fittings, applying compression and bending loads at conductor support points.
