Product Description

Kybella is an injectable non-invasive and non-surgical treatment that permanently dissolve excess fat cells in the treatment area under the chin to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat).

Kybella contains deoxycholic acid as the active ingredient, which is injected into the area beneath the chin. Kybella is being injected in small amounts in several locations of the treatment area approximately every 4 weeks for up to 6 treatments or until the desired result is achieved.

KYBELLA (deoxycholic acid) injection is indicated for improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe convexity or fullness associated with submental fat in adults.

The safe and effective use of KYBELLA for the treatment of subcutaneous fat outside the submental region has not been established and is not recommended.

KYBELLA is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment for adults that destroys fat cells to gradually improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called double chin.

KYBELLA injection is supplied in a pack of 4 single-patient-use *-mL vials.1 KYBELLA is administered by subcutaneous injections (maximum of *0 injections) into submental fat at approximately 0.2 mL per injection (up to a total of *0 mL), spaced 1 cm apart using a **-G (or smaller) 0.*-inch needle.1 Up to 6 single treatments may be administered at intervals no less than 1 month apart.1
