It has high plasticizing efficiency, low color distortion upon heat, an average resistance to water as well. It reveals favourable lubricating action when processing and is often added with phthalate to make cold resisting agricultural film, cable clad, artificial leather, outdoor water tube, frozen food packaging film and so on. It can also be used as low temperature plasticizer for many synthetic rubbers and cold resisting plasticizer for nitryl cellulose, ethyl cellulose, polystyrene, vinyl chloride copolymer and so on.
