The blast furnace shutdown is an important link in the iron production process,related to gas safety, equipment protection, environmental protection and otheraspects, focus on a good job with the shutdown preparation and safety measures,be safe, smooth shutdown.
  The shutdown methods can be divided into the fill method and the air feed linemethod. The method of filling in the shutdown process with broken coke, limestoneor gravel instead of the normal charge to the furnace fill when the filler down to near the outlet to break wind. In this way, the advantage is that the shutdown process is relatively safe, the furnace wall is not easy to collapse.
