A C3Cerako Product

C3Cerako's chemically bonded EkoRokis a eco-friendly, single component, high-performance, rapid setting ceramic mortar for ceramic tile,porcela, marble, granite and slate installation. It can be used both for interior and exteriorinstallation of tile in most residential floor and wall application.

EkoRok strongly self-bonds (eliminating "cold joint” problems), bonds exceptionally well to Portland concrete surfaces, achieves ***0 psi in 2 hrs. ***0 psi in *-hours, ***0 psi in **-hours and *0/*2,**0 psi in *8 days, non-corrosively bonds a wide variety of mineral, metal, cellulose aggregates,can be safely used indoors, outdoors (no out-gassing),is mold, moss and salt resistant, sets up underwater, withstands temperatures up to ***0C, doesn't contain any toxins (including fly ash, thereby eliminating environmentally regulated concrete clean up problems), and can beconveniently produced and applied using conventional concrete technologies.

Unlike problematic magnesium oxychloride and sulfate cements, EkoRok's unique chemical bonding does not reverse in the presence of water and/or metals.

Surface Preparation

Repairable surfaces must be free of oil, grease, wax, efflorescence, debris and other surface contaminants. To ensure a clean and sound surface, chip down the repair area to a minimum depth of 1/2". For best results, edges may also need to be sawed cut to create a vertical edge depth of at least 1/2". Do not feather edge. Remove all freestanding water prior to placement. EkoRok bonds to dry and damp surfaces.

Mixing Instructions

Proper mixing increases bonding strength.Using a mortar mixer or an electric drill and paddle, add prepared *3% water ratio by weight and thoroughly mix for *-minutes. For instance: 2 lbs. of road repair (ER***0C) +Total 5.8 oz water. It is also important to note; as mixing occurs the admixture may appear dry at first but with uninterrupted mixing admixture will normally "wet out" within *1/2 to *-minutes.
