Flax Seed (Lin
Seeds) also known as Lin Seed is a member of the genus Linum in the
family Linaceae. Its binomial name is Linum usitatissimum. The Flax
Seed is a cultivated crop and the plant is extensively found in the
region extending from the eastern Mediterranean Lands to India. It
was probably first domesticated in the Fertile Crescent. Flax is
grown for its seeds and for its fibers. Various parts of the plant
have been used to make fabric, dye, paper, medicines, fishing nets,

Oil-Paints, Lubricant oil for engines / transport vehicles and is
also a source of Omega 3 Fatty acid.
