tempered insulated glass units are hermetically sealed combinations of two or more panes of tempered glass separate by a dry airspace.
The air trapped between the two pieces of tempered glass acts as an insulator slowing the rate at which heat and cold can pass through the unit.
The more air sandwiched between the tempered glasses the better insulator effect you have. Tempered insulated glass improves thermal performance, significantly reducing heating and air conditioning costs.
Tempered insulated glass also reduces interior condensation in cold climate.
The methods for constructing an insulated glass for residential use differ from glass used in commercial settings. Spacer is the primary focus.
Usually, we use Aluminum Bars as the spacer, which can meet most of the clients.
But sometimes, for high-performance request, we will use a Super Spacer, which will improve the performance of insulated glass maximally.
