Stearin is a first class raw
material for candles showing distinguished advantages.
First class quality
This candels made of stearin are characterised through a big, not
flicering flame, steady burn up ( caused by oxygen bound in stearin
). There is also less black soot generated.
Dimensoinal stability
Compared to common candles the Kanalljus owns a higher and clear
melting point. This is the reason for nonelasticity an high
dimensional stability under heat impact.
Dripping firmness
The higher meltingpoint of stearincandles causes a lower amount of
melted material and a sharp and even edge of the candle. The four
drill holes in line of the shaft makes this candle absolutly
dripfirm also in rooms with slight draught (e.g. restaurants,
churches or acclimatised rooms )
Renewable ressources
Compared to Paraffin, that is a fossil commodity and so limited,
stearin is a renewable endless ressource.
Stearin is normaly extracted from animals fats and vegetable oils.
This can be palm oil, copra oil, soy oil and perhaps colza oil.
