Paint / Coating Grade Talc Powder

Talc is a mineral called hydrated magnesium silicate. It is an industrial raw material which is used as a commodity in a wide rage of applications ie. plastic, paint and coating, rubber and cable, paper making, ceramic, animal feed etc.



Talc in coatings, due to its inertnes, improves adhesion and anticorossion, increasing the paint's durability. Talc helps coating manufacturers to formulate low VOC content paint, reducing solvent emissions which benefits the environment and health of users.

 

The main functions talc is used are for anti-caking, anti-sticking, thickener, smooth filler, strengthen filler, carrier, lubricant etc.

CaO:    0.3% - 0.8%
