The Samui is a small-sized
active ID tag for tracking, protection and security
purposes. The Samui has
a flanged
enclosure that can easily be fixed to various types
of assets. Its
weight is less than *5g. The
tag uses the 2.4 GHz ISM band
and has a range of
up to *0 metres.
The Samui can be fitted
with a movement detector. This is used to track movements, detect
unauthorised removal of assets or detect openings of doors and
cabinets. A device status flag informs about the tag’s states.
Sense & Moving state for informing about normal movements; or
Guard & Alert state for informing about unauthorised
movements.
An optional light indicator can be used for
fast finding of specific tags, or for simple
messaging.
The tag is intended to be used together with
TM**0 series RFIDS™
readers.
