Most of the Cassava starch processing line will use Multicyclone unit or hydrocyclone group, It is a machine set to refining starch slurry from the starch extracting processing stage. After extracting starch from the crushed slurry, there are still small articles of fibers, soluble protien which are go through with the starch slurry with thickness about 5 Be. so starch multicyclone for this purpose is to removing above mentioned substances. Multicyclone's running is just like laundry, the more times the starch is washed by clean water, the purer starch we shall get. But that comes a dilemma; more times of washing means more clean water and power consumption. So there should be a best and balanced water resource and power consumption point to which our different targetted starch quality needs.
