The ACT3 welding unit has been designed to give you the best of both worlds. It has a simple and quick menu system, allowing very easy use for the operator, backed up with full data logging and customisable operation for the supervisor. Modes of operation can be switched on and off, so one day it could be a manual no data logging unit, and the next, locked into Fusamatic data logging only. The ACT3 has been approved to the Transco specification for electrofusion (ECE1), and will weld *9,5 volt fittings up to a maximum current of *5 amps. It has also been designed to meet the ISO standard ******2 and can be configured with a welding voltage between 8 volts and *8 volts.
