The Chess & Backgammon set is made of great materials. Marquetry is one of the Iranian traditional arts. With the use of this art and Iranian Miniature, we produced beautiful and charming inlay sets. One of the most beautiful crafts that has been popular in Iran since ancient times is Marquetry and Inlay (Khatamkari). In Khatamkari hand-made wood chips are lined up on wooden boxes or any decorative or consumable device. Marquetry is a fantastic art that requires a lot of skill. Marquetry and inlay always give positive energy to the environment. The inlay is a combination of regular polygons with a different number of sides; which are formed using different materials in different colours. It is five, six, seven, octagonal or ten-sided. The sticks used for making inlay are assembled in triangular beams and glued to create a cylinder. The cross-section is now a six-branch star which is cut, compressed and dried between two wooden plates, before being sliced for the last time, in 1 mm wide sections. These sections are then plated and glued on the surface to be decorated before the shiny finish is applied. Chess & Backgammon set has a suitable size.
