~~Clik-Lok Australia (CLA) has developed a range of manual and auto-retractable safety syringes for human and veterinary use.  The CLA safety syringes have been innovatively designed with a range of features which CLA believes makes them technically superior to other commercially available safety syringes, including:
• There is no required change in injection technique - minimal training is required to use
• The user can hear and feel when the locking mechanism is activated - increasing user confidence
• After needle retraction the plunger is snapped off encapsulating the used needle allowing for safe disposal after injection and preventing possibility of reuse
• Elimination of splashback for auto-retractable syringes
Currently the majority of safety syringes sold today use a sheath or shield cover the user places over the needle following use which have identified problems of change of technique, possibility of reuse and even potential for needlestick injury.  Safety syringes incorporating retractable needle technology have problems associated with additional force to activate safety mechanism and blood splashback.
CLAs products have been developed and tested over the past seven years with all intellectual property protected in key markets.  The designs are completed with manufacturing processes established to produce the manual retractable syringe through SOFAP in Tunisia.
