The MC-GSB**-x*0x Series is a WDM fiber media converter designed to convert ***0BASE-FX fiber to *0/**0/***0Base-TX copper media or vice versa. It is a cost-effective solution for connecting a *0/**0/***0Mbps Ethernet network to remote network segments over a ***0Base-FX fiber backbone. The media converter offers Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (WDM), enabling bi-directional communication over a single fiber, which doubling the capacity of your existing fiber infrastructure without having to install new cabling. This series is provided with external power as default. For added versatility, this fiber media converter supports standalone operation, or installation into the *4 slots media converters rack chassis (MC-RACK**4).
