Microsoft came up with a line of new accessories, with unveiling a keyboard for iOS, Xbox one controller for PC gaming and windows devices.
These latest additions in accessories department have shifted the attention of the company as they had never launched many items that are available universally. The only device that is windows-oriented in the lineup of new launches is Xbox one controller that can be paired off with the windows computers.
The iOS based keyboard contains numerous attributes such as it is a "one size fits all" accessory that shows every smartphone and phablet can be connected easily without any medium and the device is not too big to use. The updated iPad can be fit in to the slot, but an older verison of Ipad could not. Secondly, the keyboard includes a button that Microsoft represents it as "OS Switch," which doubles as the Windows "Control" key, the iOS "Command" key, and the Android Home button. Moreover, the keyboard also entails Bluetooth feature and doubles as a stand and cover for the user’s instrument. In addition, this keyboard is far superior and effective for a typing through which the user can enhance their typing speed with up to two times faster than typing in screen keyboard on a tablet. The keyboard is durable and competent enough for ongoing work up to six months on one time charging, claiming Microsoft.
However, there is no chance that the smartphone supported keyboard will not work better because, Microsoft mark its tag on it which is an assurance because it is the history of Microsoft to create quality computer peripherals.
The selling cost for the universal keyboard is around $70, which seems too expensive but its features and quality justify its pricing and make it as a value for money device.
On the other hand, the company has also unveiled its two mice. One mouse has two different editions; one edition is an advanced version of Microsoft Arc mouse featuring Bluetooth 4.0, whereas, the other edition is comparatively lower in Bluetooth power and can be lasting for more than 6 months on a single charge. The other mouse type is the Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 Limited Edition, which contains a dongle, far different from advanced Arc mouse.
The rest of the new release uncovered by Microsoft on was a wired Xbox one controller for Windows PC, which give the users an alternative way to play Xbox games such as call of duty and halo that has been ported to windows. Previously, the users were restricted to choose among gamepad of other companies and Xbox 360 for playing games.
“Users can wirelessly control an Xbox One with the controller by plugging it into a PC, essentially helping tie the two platforms together”, said Microsoft
Microsoft has already unveiled two mice ranges in September, launching universal Keyboard in October and the Xbox One controller in coming November.
