FT**0YJPCM Equipment is a 3U high *9" rack with vehicle mountablemulti-functional Voice/Data multiplexer over fiber link or over E1 link. It is builtupon a highly flexible, modular design. It supports one optical port with 4E1s,four E1 ports with impedance of**0ohm or *5ohm, one Ethernet port, one FV.*5port, two asynchronous RS**2 ports, two synchronous RS**2 ports, eight FXSports, eight FXO ports, eight 4 wire E&M ports, eight magneto phone ports,eight ***0Hz carrier magneto ports, eight hot line ports.

FT**0YJ PCM Equipmenthas a non-blocking slot cross connection unit. That is used for determine theroute for each slot. For example, we can let the first channel of FXS trans viathe second slot of the third E1, and let the second slot of the first E1 transvia third slot of one E1 of the optical port. With the cross connection unit, FT**0YJPCM Equipment can be used as the DI (drop/insert) equipment.

FT**0YJ PCM Equipmentcan be provided with a net management system, by which the operation of thenetwork can be managed in real time and the functions of fault locating,re-distribution of time slots and testing can be performed easily. The NMS PCcan be connected with the devices directly via RS**2 port, which can improvethe efficiency of network management into a high level.

FT**0YJ PCM Equipment has the followingcharacteristics:

1   High density

The system capacity is *8 audio ports,1 optical port, 4 E1 ports, 1 Ethernet port, 2 asynchronous RS**2 ports, 2synchronous RS**2 ports and 1 FV.*5 port with N×*4Kbps.

The configuration of user servicetypes is flexible and convenient.

Operatingstatus of local or remote devices can be detected and displayed through NMS

Itis convenient to set cross-connect mode, set the level of analog interface,read devices’ settings, and easy to maintain by NMS

Automatic online test function canrealize level test and signaling test for analog interface, functional test fordata interface, functional tests of A/B ground, short circuit for externallines(only for 2 wire audio interfaces). It is very convenient to locate faultquickly and correctly with the help of the NMS.

3   DI (drop/insert) function

The DI function is configured bysoftware, to meet the needs of different types of users via flexibleconfiguration of net management system.

4   Optional optical transmissionunit

Four E1 ports can be transmitted viaoptical fiber. According to the optical transmission, FT**0YJ can be used tocomplete point-to-point connection, and it can also be incorporated into thesame computer network management software.
