but also are alternatives for FTTH connectors by fully covering the existed problems of FTTH connectors.


As you may already know, there are three way of FTTH terminating process in the world and 
every country/companies use different methods. 
Using and by the reason of, 
1. Mechanical splice-on connector  :  Low price/Fast/easy to assemble in field
2. Fusion splice-on connector : High quality performance
3. Factory terminated cable : High quality performance/ No additional assembling work required
And,
Here are main reasons why NOT used more:
1. Mechanical splice-on connector  :  Low quality performance(High loss) / high error rate / impermanent use(no more than 3 years)
2. Fusion splice-on connector : Expensive cost(machine,connector) / technical skill required(complicated process) / dragging work time 
3. Factory terminated cable : Always leaves extra cables(cables being too long, too short for the field) / Impossible to come through a window hole for home use(has to make a bigger hole, or cut off the cable and re-connect)
